Do you find Medicare plans challenging to understand and confusing?

Medicare can be very confusing, but with my background, I pretty much know all the ins and outs. I teach people how Medicare works. We’ve got the little booklet that all insurance companies who sell Medicare supplements are required to produce. It is a government document they’re required to produce that has their company name on the inside of the booklet. There’s an outline of how each of the standardized plan work in there. An insurance company can sell any plan they want to sell, but they must sell a plan A. A plan A is the plan with the least benefits. I have never sold a plan A because I prefer to sell people plans that will pay for most of what they’re required to pay. I go through the book with a highlighter and show them the plans. Then, we go through their personal situation and find the best fit for them.
